I shall be in Saumur in early July. Can one buy weekly passes for the busses (local, to Tours, Angers, etc). If yes please give me a contact point. Thank you

Travel from town to town is more conveniently accomplished by train in France. Urban bus service is more rare. Local service, when available, is usually provided as a means to transport children to and from school and schedules reflect this objective.
However, there is a bus from Saumur to Tours (Line N1) the schedule for which may be found here: http://www.touraine-filvert.com/ I do not believe Saumur will have easy bus connections to nearby cities. I recommend your contacting the local Office de Tourisme directly and asking about public transportation options: http://www.ot-saumur.fr/
