My husband & i will be going to macau on Nov. 21-30, 2008. Were planning to visit macau,hk, and china. In macau were planning to visit the ff:
* 1. MACAU MUSEU 2. STATUE OF KUN LAM 3. COLISEUM LIKE IN ITALY 4. SCOOTERS EVERYWHERE 5. FISHERMANS WHARF 6. MGM 7. D' AMAZING BRIDGE 8. A- MA TEMPLE 9. MACAU TOWER 10. PASSING AN ISLAND 11. PENHA CHURCH 12. RUINS OF ST. PAUL 13. MONTE FORT
How many days to we need for us to be able to visit all this places?
How much is the entrance fee for the above tourist spots in macau?
Is 9 days & 10 nights enough for us to visit macau, hk, and china?
Any suggestion places to visit in hk and in china?
Any cheap hotels in Hongkong? Bec. we dont have that much pocket money, thats why im planning in advance for us to know how much money do we need. Kindly give as contact nos. or website, so we'll be able to plan our vacation w/ the itinerary.

Thank you for the information that you'll gonna share w/ me. It's really a big help.

HI!

For one, Macau is very compact so you should be able to cover most of the main tourist spots within 3 days..if you go slow.

Have pages on HK and Macau should you care to take a look and see if the tips are any useful.

As for China, it's the 3rd largest country in the world. You wouldn't be able to see it in 9 days....so I suggest you concentrate in 1 city - maybe Shanghai or Beijing....the nearest Chinese cities to Macau and HKG respectively would be Zhuhai and Shenzhen.

For Macau:
I think you just stay 1 night in Macau is enough. Macau is a small place and its transportation is very convenience.
You can take a look of the following Macau Tourism Board website, there is much info which could help you to plan the route. Entrance fee for Macau Museum is MOP15, but there is Museum Pass cost MOP25. I recommend you buy the pass as you just visit 2 Museum already cover the pass cost.

HK:
Can shopping in Mongkok.
Theme Park: Ocean Park
Scenery: Giant Buddha, The Peak
Drink: Lan Kwai Fong & Soho

Hotel: not sure is it within your budget....Eg: Evergreen Hotel at Jordan (http://www.evergreenhotel.com/)
Hotel 36 at Mongkok (http://www.hotel36.hk)
http://www.hotelhk.com/

China:
Not sure which location you want to go, so diff to say the budget

Hi there, here are some tips for your hongkong trip =)

for accomodation you can stay at George guesthouse, room is clean and safe. Me and my boyfried stayed their november of last year and the place is ok with us. The room for 2 person costs us 200hkd/night it has a private comfort room & tv (which you will not need i think since you'll be staying most of the time outside the hostel) its near Tsim Sha Tsiu (i hope i get the spelling right) station so its pretty accessible. below is the complete address of the guesthouse and the phone #:

GEORGE GUESTHOUSE:
12/F Block A1, A2, C1, D4, F1, F3, F4 Mirador Mansion 54-64 Nathan Rd Kowloon Hongkong.
tel#: (852)23118807 - look for Rowena
Directions from Hongkong International Airport: Take A21 Airport Shuttle – Service from 05:30 to 00:00, every 10 minutes, it takes about 40 minutes, cost 33HKD for each person (free of luggage fee). Please stop at the 13th bus stop (Citibank). Just be sure to have exact amout since buses doesn't have change.

For itineraries and expenses you can PM me or just reply in this forum as to when and what time you'll be arriving in hongkong and how many days you plan to stay there before going to Macau. i'd be glad to share with you our itineraries (with amount) from our last year's trip.

i hope the informations i stated already helps. =)

guess what??? :) my friends and i will be in hongkong also on November 26-29, 2008 we will be staying in George Guesthouse also. hope to meet you either in hongkong or in Macau =)
