Wondering how much an hour massage will cost-think I'm staying around the SW area. In Thailand it's much cheaper finding a shop rather than getting massage at hotel-probably the same in Bali? Thanks!

I highly recomend dn using The Febris Hotel Spa they are well priced and have many options to choose from. They are located in Tuban and are part of the Green Garden Chain of Hotels.

Hi,
I have just returned from another trip to Bali, you will find like Thiland you can get massarge's anywhere, I am not a fan of the beach massage but you will find all hotels, even the cheapest will have some sort of massage facilities. I just checked a place I used in Ubud and a 1 hour massage will cost you 85,000Rp which is just under $10aus, our dollar is very close to yours so it would most probarbly be $9us. This was a lovely Spa affiliated with the hotel we stayed at. You will find it is cheaper than Thiland. Have a great time.

Hi There!
Yeah u r rite..and I believed anywhere also practice the same. Mostly hotel spa is more expensive but they guarantee you satisfaction & quality. But I'm not saying that non-hotel massage service is not good - they r still wonderful & affordable. Im not sure about kuta or sanur, but just came back from Ubud.Tried both hotel & non-hotel spa and I did feel the difference. But i do like them all since they r very cheap. Perhaps u could check on Ubud Village Resort & Spa or non-hotel spa like Pertenin Body care, Spa Hati, Zen Bodyworks and etc. They r all located in Ubud. Hemm...make sure u try the LULUR-javanese bodyscrub :-) Cheeerrrs!

I agree with Pienkcat, one that she mentioned Pertemin Body Spa is one that I used in Ubud and was excellent. If you phone them they will send a car for you. I have stayed in Sanur a lot over the years and have tried many. I would not suggest you have a Massarge from one of the many Hairdressers/beauty salons, generally speaking they are a very good price but not well trained. That also goes for the Beach massarges.
