Hi All,

I will have a nine hour stopover in Seoul. I'll arrive at 8:50 AM and depart at 6:05 PM. I'll have my boarding pass and all so I guess I'll need to be back at the airport at 4:30 PM. So you think that I'll have a chance to see a bit of the city or is it not worth leaving the airport. Also, do Canadians need a visa to enter the country?

You will have enough time for a quick visit. Be advised, however, that the trip from Incheon Airport to Seoul takes at least an hour, the hotel buses tend to need 80 to 90 minutes. That already accounts for more than two hours of traveling alone... You might actually wanna take the new train from Incheon airport to Gimpo airport and proceed by subway. Depending on where you plan to go, this might even be faster than taking the bus.

Canadians do not need a visa to enter the country. It is like the usa for the visa requirements. When I went to korea myself I had a 30 day without visa. I am a american. Canada is the same but longer for canadians than americans to go in without visa tourist B-2. Just figure out what u want to do in korea where u want to see. It takes about 1 hour by taxi from incheon airport to Seoul without traffic jams. I went by taxi with my husband from itaweon in seoul. Just watch your travel time where u want to go see in seoul or incheon. U should be fine otherwise.
