Dear friend,
i am planning to visit folegandros this summer. I read that there are many beaches that can only be reached on foot or by boats. Therefore, i was wondering wether i could rent a motor boat to take me an my friend to various beaches. Is that possible and who do i have to contact? Thank you in advance for your time. I have been to Folegandros on several occasions, in my view it would not be be safe for inexperienced people to hire boats to go around Folegandros.
It is possible to arrange for a local with a boat to do some sort of excursion around the island. You would have to assemble a number of people together to make it a sensible price. There is a tourist office in the Chora who may be able to help. Bear in mind that it is quite easy to visit any beach by taking the island bus and/or walking.
