| Palma de Mallorca | Deya and surrounding area Posted: Fri May 30, 2008 06:31 AM UTC
I will be visiting Deya for one week, does anyone have any suggestions for cool things to do in the area. I will have a car so travel is no problem. I am looking for great restaurants, beaches etc. etc.
Thank You |

Hi,
one of the best restaurants I ever visited in Majorca is "C'an Quet" associated with the hotel "Es Moli",about 1 km before you reach Deija from Valdemossa,on the hillside at the right side of the street (Ctra. Valldemossa- Deia, s/n, 07179, tel +34 971 639 196. "Fresh Mediterranean cuisine, using products from the land. Dishes can be adapted for special dietary requirements.Themed Tasting Menus are available and they are changed regularly: 6 courses - €50 per person (excl wine & tax)" C'an Quet is not cheap, but a unique experience in high-class cuisine, offering value for money in a mediterranean garden with views to the village and the mediterranean sea! Have alook at their site at http://tinyurl.com/3opmfb Good Luck !

If you want 30 mins peace and quiet while you are in Palma, go to the Islamic Gardens. Beautiful small haven of peace and quiet for a chill out.
