Forum Question Posted By: Replies:
Chicago Taxi fare Union Statin to Hyde Park
Posted: Thu May 29, 2008 08:13 AM UTC
Hallo!

Can anyone inform how much costs a taxi ride from Union Station to Hyde Park? Is there additional charge for luggage?

Is there another convenient way to do this trip (without changing buses or trains in between)?

Thanks in advance!

Between 6:36 and 7:50 AM and 2:50 and 7:50 PM you can get to Hyde Park on a single bus which has some space for luggage. See its schedule at:

At other times you would have to take 2 buses of a train and a bus. See the RTA Trip Planner:

Taxi fare would be about $20 and I think the a $1 a piece charge for luggage.
