Hi there. I'll be going to Phuket the following Monday. I'm rather interested in visiting the national parks, particularly the Khao Phra Thaeo National Park. I have a problem though. As I do not have much driving experience, I do not wish to risk renting and driving a car in Phuket. Is there any public transport or shuttle service which I can use to get from Patong to Khao Phra Thaeo and back?

hello.. im not sure about the exact public transport however i was told that the central bus station in phuket town have buses that go to everywhere in Thailand, including Bangkok. Im sure there would be a bus that goes there as well. Im leaving for phuket tomorrow! maybe we could go together? Im up for making friends while i'm in Phuket..

Cool, I'll be leaving for Phuket tomorrow. My apologies that I can't meet up with you though, as I'm going with my girlfriend and we'd prefer it if it's just the two of us. Maybe next time, okay?

Is the national park on Phuket island?
If so, you might be better off to hire a driver for the day. Just make sure to agree on the price first.
