Hi! I'll be arriving on june 9 in seim reap. Would just like to ask how the weather is there now?

My family & I will also be there from 9 June 2008, for the first time. We were told, both by friends who've been there, as well as posts on this Forum, that the weather there is generally good, although there are short showers in the afternoon.

I suppose the thing to do would be to bring along a few disposable ponchos (in case you're caught in the rain) & plan your outings around the showers, e.g. visit temple(s) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or so, back to hotel for lunch & a nap (during the rain), then back out again, catch a few sunset photos near the temples, then a good dinner at some of the many wonderful restaurants there :)

We are presently in Cambodia and today's date is the 5th of June, the weather here now is a bit hotter than the Philippines, the difference is that since we got here which was nearly a week now, by 6 in the pm, it rains, yes, bringing your poncho would be ideal. There are so many restaurants here, specially where we live, the hotel is Golden Temple and just few meters away (about 5 mins. walk) are rows of good restaurants.

Hi Anthony & Marie, how are you ? long time no contact laaaaaaa... are you still in siem reap? hows the temperature there ? around 30c?? im planning to be there early next month :))

Today is the 16th June and it is our last day here...how sad...as we really enjoy it! The weather is very humid, it's now about high 80's . Enjoy all the sights! People here are extra wonderful as it's a smaller scale of people. What I personally did not enjoy much is the water village, that is where much of the poverty is showned to tourists...you feel like giving the clothes you wear as many of them hardly have enough to cover themselves, other than that, we are enjoying Siem Reap.
