What is considered appropriate dress for women tourists visiting Bali? What would and would not be acceptable to wear?

HI!
Bali is rather commercialised due to its long history of tourism. Also, it is more Hindu than Islam. You get a more laidback atmosphere. With its hot & humid weather, you'll be alright going around in comfy clothes, thought nothing too revealing.....and certainly please do show respect when visiting temples by wearing pants and covering your shoulders.

Shorts, t-shirts and tank tops are what I saw when I was in Bali a few years ago. I would be careful if you are going to a temple but besides that you can wear whatever. Just don't be too revealing and you should be ok.
