| Prague | Wifi in Prague Posted: Tue May 27, 2008 08:33 PM UTC
How easy is it to get a connection in Prague? Is it worth carrying a laptop around? Are there any or a lot of free hot spots and if so where? Downtown area that is.
Thanks Ja |

Hi,
There are free WiFi spots, I wouldn't call "a lot", but there is no problem to connect. Some places offer WiFi to customers providing a access code (like "Pizza Colloseum" on Mustek), others just have unlocked access. Some places near Mustek: "Coffe and Cigars" on Vodickova street 39 - http://www.coffeeandcigars.cz/ "Cafe Cafe" - Rytirska 10 - also free PC for customers is available (if it is full - just a couple of buildings away is their second cafe called "Cafe live" or similar) In the shopping centers often there is at least one restaurant/cafe with free WiFi. For example "La Tavola" in "Novy Smichov" (Metro Andel), or some restaurants on top floor in "Palladium" (nearby Municipal house).
