Hamburg Distance between Hamburg and Hannover

Dear VT friends,

I've got another question. Just I would like to know the distance between Hamburg and Hannover and if we live in Hamburg is it a problem commuting to Hannover everyday?

Any comments would be appreciated.
Rgd,
Mohammad

sometimes there are 3 trains per hour, ride takes 1 hour 15 min, so it is possible, especially in case that you live INside the station of Hamburg and work IN or next to the station of Hannover.
Otherwise you have to add a lot of time at each side every time that you go

Hi Mohammad, studying does not sound like having a too big budget, so travalling every day is also a thing of that. The fast connection mentioned above also is that of a ICE train. The cheaper trains need two hours at least. I guess it would be the best to look up for two rooms/small appartements in both cities and get together the weekends. I guess Clausthal should not be that expensive for renting a room at least. Maybe after having started studying things develop so that one of you does not need to be at university every day - that might change things. The Harz region is a pretty touristic area, little hilly and snow in winter. Hamburg is a great metropole. If you are looking for rooms look up my Hamburg tips - where to stay - there are some links how to find private rooms where you can post for a room. Maybe this might be interesting for you.
Have a nice time, Chris.
