| Cannes | Bus from Cannes to St Tropez Posted: Mon May 26, 2008 05:02 PM UTC
We are staying in Cannes for a few days in June. Is there a bus from Cannes to St Tropez so that we can go for the day please?

Cannot find a direct bus between the 2 so it's as simple to take the train from Cannes to St. Raphael and then a bus on to St. Tropez. Plenty of trains from 7 o'clock in the morning, cost about 6euros and take 21/29 mins. It's about a further 75 mins on the bus. Train and bus stations are next to one another in S.R.

If you don't mind paying more, you should also consider going to Saint-Tropez by boat.

Hi David
You can do it better using the train and the bus Take the train to St Raphael, then take the SODETRAV bus No 104 (It stops at the main station)to St Tropez. Their website is http://www.sodetrav.fr IF you are going to do the jorney this way leave early in the morning as it is not so hot and the bus journey takes less time about 1hr 30mins at 7.50 in the morning but the journey gets progressively slower during the day as the traffic builds up, it can take 2 to 2 1/2 hours at peak times. The boat is in my opinion the best option, its cooler and you wont sit in traffic and its a nice ride!
