Hi,
I will be traveling to Japan Tokyo for 4 days. I would like to know the way in getting to the following 1. How to go to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal from Chisun Inn Asakusa Hotel? 2. How to go to Tsukiji Fish Market from Chisun Inn Asakusa Hotel? 3. What is the best time to visit Tsukiji Fish Market? Thanks a lot. :) |

You can use the Toei Ōedo Line which will take you to Kuramae Station, right at your hotel. To do that from the bus station you need to get to the Shiodome station which is connected to Shimbashi station, one stop north of Hamamatsucho Station, on the Yamanote. One of the stops on this line is the Tsukiji-cho stop.
I say it often, but it makes a lot of sense, saves frustration, and time, but you may just want to take a cab from the bus station to your hotel, it's not a far distance as the crow flies, and the expense may be worth frazzled nerves and lost time. Tsukiji starts up at 5 am and the action is swift. The best time to be there is at opening, until about 8 am or so. Don't forget to have breakfast there.

That is the Toei Oedo line, by the way. There is also the Toei Asakusa line, providing a different option as well, and maybe less confusing, involving a change of trains at Shimbashi Station.

Actually I just visited the fish market last week. I was there at 9am and it was still buzzing! No pblm. Don't push yourself to wake up at the wee hours of the morning. Not worth it. Also, do be very very careful of the vehicles in the vicinity. There is no order. Who dares wins.
