hi there,
one of the most famous museums for old motorbikes is not so far away in Neckarsulm. (http://www.zweirad-museum.de/). It is wellknown by the fans and a must for bikefans. In Karlsruhe there is a technic- and transportation museum with a few nice things to see (oops, never been there - should be visiting this also): http://www1.karlsruhe.de/Kultur/Verkehrsmuseum/fahrraeder.htm Not too far away is: Motorrad-Museum Michelstadt, 64720 Michelstadt, Walter-Ratenau-Allee 17 Tel. 06061-73707 (did not find any www.) A good collection racing bikes he will find at the racetrack museum in Hockenheim. http://www.hockenheimring.com/Default.aspx?tabid=287 One of biggest technic museums in Germany (Europe) is to find here: http://www.technik-museum.de/ Of course they have a lot of motorbikes. A journey worth for fans could be: Klees-Werner-Museum, 66636 Tholey, Metzer Str. 40, Tel. 06853-1884 (also no www found) Very rare thing to see. Only open on saturday/sunday: http://www.zweiradmuseum-pleidelsheim.de/index.htm Dont know, how to reach by public transport (abalada might find the best way as he always did). ask for more details Gar
