Seoul Baggage storage
Posted: Sun May 25, 2008 11:15 AM UTC
After a week in Seoul, I plan to go to Gyeongju and Andong for four days. The motel where I'm staying has no baggage storage facility. Can anyone tell me where in Seoul can I store my large suitcase? I will return to Seoul for one night before flying out.
Thanks

Depending on how big your suitcase is, you might wanna try the lockers in the subway stations. There are small as well as big lockers but I'm not sure whether the big ones will fit a big suitcase.
Also, the machine's instructions are only displayed in Korean, so you might wanna ask for some helping hand (which Korean people will surely offer gladly).

Just my two cents...

Cheers,
Robert

Since you are leaving from Seoul anyway, both the airports, Gimpo and Incheon, have luggage storage services.

I doubt the subway locker will be big enough for my suitcase. Maybe I should just take it along with me. I suppose the express bus to Gyeongju and between Gyeongju and Andong has space for large suitcase.
Thanks.

This is important!!

Hi I am a native Korean.
As you know, subway lockers are cheap and safe but not big enough.
And very important thing is that most of foreigners will never know that there is a limit of time!
Means, you are supposed to open and bring out your things before midnight!
If you don't, your things will go to office.
So that is basically impossoble to store your things in subway lockers for more than 1day.
And that is true that instructions are only in Korean. But everybody will be happily help you.
