hello.
i wasn't able to get any response re: a hostel near the beach--so i just wanted to know how close the beach is to tel aviv--i'll be arriving mid august--are there any piers to walk on sit on, etc. thanks |

The beach is abou 10 meters away from Tel-Aviv. From the western streets you can just cross the street and be on the beach. Most of the cheap hostels are very near the beach. One of them I heard good things about, but haven't been to myself is HaYarkon 48 (http://www.hayarkon48.com).
