Bandung budget hotel

Hi,
I am going to Bandung soon. Would appreciate if someone can tell me is there a place where there are cheap accommodation for backpackers just like in the Bolioboro street in Jogja?
How long will it take for train travel from Bandung to Jogja and what is the fare?

There is not really a backpacker area in Bandung as near MALIOBORO street in Yogya, but there are some cheaper hotels south of the train station.

Train from Bandung to Yogya takes about six to seven hours, I guess the price should be around IDR 200'000 in Executive Class, about half of that in Business Class.

hmm i've heard about the cheap guest house around BIP/jl.merdeka but i don't know precisely where it is, i know it from my friends... well it's less than Rp.50.000/night .. and it's close to the shopping area in Bandung!! well i think i better start to find out about the exact location soon because many people are asking me about this cheap accommodation...

hmm about train fare i think you better look at it in the station!!

u can book Dewi Sartika at Alun Alun near Masjid Raya Bandung
very cheap, clean...just tell the receptionist Kak Lina from Malaysia recomend this hotel.... very very reasonable rate...for the room
i love to stay here,,,friend
