Myself and a friend want to go to Sydney cbd or Bondi area to go drink some nice wine and to listern to jazz/blues, Rock or funky live music and are having trouble finding somewhere that is nice enough for 2 young ladies to enjoy an evening out? Can sum1 pleaz pleaz pleaz give me some answers????????????

Sounds like you're looking for The Basement. It's in the CBD:
http://www.thebasement.com.au/ Shame The Golden Sheaf had a fire in their back room, cause they have great bands on there. The Basement is probably quite a bit chilled - not sure what your style is as your profile is blank. The Orient in the Rocks always has bands on, but I'm not much of a fan of that place at all... Bondi? Beach Road would have live bands on for sure. http://www.eatability.com.au/au/sydney/the_beach_road_hotel.htm It's a bit funkier, but if you dress up a bit, The Fringe in Paddington is a cool place to go for a dance. Also, you might like The Loft or Cargo Bar (upstairs) at King St. Wharf in the city...they've always got good house music and dancing. Maybe head to a bookstore/hostel and grab the free magazine for what's on in Sydney. Heaps of band info is listed in there! Hope that helps!

In the CBD there's also Soup Plus in Margaret Street.
