If you are already in the City Park, it would be very interesting for the kids, to visit the Zoo, the Vidám Park (Amusement Park) and the Szechenyi Bath.

We just return to Australia (Hungarian background) , and loved budapest. the night life was better than sydney, but the taxi drivers ripped us off a few times. Beware. We booked right in the city center with Budapest apartment 4, http://www.budapestaccommodation.net/budapest_apartment_4.htm ... The apartments were huge, and were well equipped. bigger than a hotel room and more comfortable. Also never pay in euros, because we found out that the places that do accept euros (which are not a lo) have terrible exchange rates)

I would say that the itineraries are pretty good. DEFINITELY do the Baths in the park. That is the largest of the various baths that I've seen. Also, some baths don't allow women at all. Some are segregated with certain days for men and certain days for women. The baths in the park are open to all every day that they are open. I don't know for certain about the other bath houses, but this one has hot, tepid, cold, mineral (in varying contents) and ice baths. Additionally, they have various steam saunas (I don't recall if they had dry saunas or not) and three outdoor pools. One is heated (very nice in January, I must say), one is normal and the other has lots of jets and sprays in it.
The Zoo is literally across the street from this bath, so that can make the logistics a bit easier. There are several art museums right in Hero's Square as well, so that can definitely cover an entire day for you. And nope, 3.5 days in Budapest is not enough! St. Stephans Basilica is also another good site that can distract you for a couple of hours! The last picture here is from a spiral staircase in Budapest. (and the two preceding photos were in Budapest as well.) http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/tt/5c93e/#TL I stayed at the Marianna Apartment but I don't know that it would be suitable for 3 people. It has a full sized bed and a full sized couch in addition to a full back, kitchen and washer/dryer. The price was also very reasonable and it was about 1-2 blocks from the Jewish Synagogue. All in all it was a great apartment in an awesome location and the price was definitely right. The view was interesting as I was watching an instrument repairman working on Tuba's and Trombone's while I was there. :D Not something one sees every day.

Hey again! Here are my plans so far of what to do each day. Tell me if I will have time to do all the activities I hope we can do each day.( but don’t want it too busy) Or if it is impractical to do certain activities on the same day (example: they are far away from each other, though I tried to not let that happen) Also any other activities we should do. So you can help us more: I am interested in outdoor stuff but still like pretty much anything else. (Sorry that didn’t explain anything) my brother likes things that are interactive. (Example: street fairs and hands on museums. not look at a painting place or look but don’t touch places) My dad loves history. And my mom likes anything to do with the Catholic Church (we have been to Italy) and she likes beaches. As always suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
Day 25- Marseille/Budapest – Hotel: • Danube Dinner Cruise Day 26- Budapest – Hotel: • Take the Funicular up to the Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church Day 27- Budapest – Hotel: • City Park o Zoo o Vidam Park o Szechenyi Bath Day 28- Budapest – Hotel: • Parliament Tour • Grand Market • Jewish Quarter o Great Synagogue Day 29- Budapest/Krakow – Hotel: Pod Bialym Orlem • Jewish District

Congratulation! Your program seems to be absolutely good and achievable. I would change only one point, instead of Jewish Quarter I would visit the Saint Stephen Basilica, where the Holy Right Hand of the first Hungarian Christian King can be found. Regarding the hotel my proposal would be the same than of ossian99, the K&K Opera.
