Yosemite National Park Need some advice!!

My friends and I are planning a 4 day hike June 21-26. We are in good shape and feel we can handle moderate hikes. My question is does anyone know of a 4 day hike that has a lot of water for swimming and fishing???

Thanks very much in advance!!

Not sure if you've already checked the park's web site - just in case here it is: http://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/things2do.htm

It has entries for hiking and swimming, so maybe you could combine the activities. Please note they have a special request on how to enter the river.

Word of warning: It's best to stay on the trails! My son and daughter in law (she went to the park yearly and knew it well) ... got badly lost after getting out of a trail - actually to the point of getting quite worried about night coming while they were lost!

There are plenty of trails there, and at that time of year there will defintely be plenty of water. I was there in June 2005 and the water was the highest it had been in years. Awesome to go white water rafting on.

Just be aware that the nights do get rather cold, and be on the look out for bears, they like roaming camps at night so ensure all the smelly things (incl toothpaste and deodorant and food) are locked up in a bear safe.
