Hi...I need some advice... I dont mean to sound negative but I will be moving to Qatar in June for work for a company that has US Military contracts.
I am from the US... Can anyone tell me the level of safety and security in Doha..Not as far as Crime but terrorist acts against westerners or Americans... Do you feel secure or feel like you are being"followed" Please.. This question is not meant to offend anyone.. Thanks You |

you are being paranoid, Qatar is quite safe, you will be bored to tears after only a few weeks there.

The homicide rate in Qatar is just over 1 per million; in the USA it is 43 per million. I don't think you have much to worry about.
