I believe it is only open for temporary exhibitions. However, the page above has not been updated with later 2008 exhibitions so I don't know what will be on when you visit (if you do). http://www.archivi.beniculturali.it/UCBAWEB/ricerc has opening times (as does the first link, both in Italian).
