Hi...I will visit saigon soon and would like to know how much is the taxi fare from airport to downtown saigon and is there any legal taxi rank/counter at the airport.thank you

Hi,
It' s around usd12-14/way. You can see many companies there. But I only use Vinataxi with yellow color and the number 81111111 or Mailinh taxi with white and green color and the number 8424242/8666666. Hope you can easily find and catch it. Have fun/KoolJ

There is a taxi rank right in front of arrivals, most of them will be airport or Saigon taxi. The fare is around 90,000VND which is 6US$. All of the taxis are metered, just make sure they turn the meter on, every now and then you will find one that tries it on with a flat fee, just demand the meter is on

Ah, sorry. My previos post was for Hanoi Airport. I mixed it up with Saigon. From Saigon, around Jonny's amount to 110.000vnd.

Hi Taxi is cheap, budget on US $10 which should include the tip.
