My wife and I plan to make a side trip to Belize City (via Chetumal) from Cancun, Mexico by express bus in July. We plan to leave Cancun no later than 8:00 am.
How long would it take us to get to Belize City? Do we have to change bus at Chetumal? Where is the bus station in Cancun? Thanks. |

it would be good if you could break the journey in Chetumal for the night. the drive is a long one. the buses to Belize leave in the morning, unless some visitor has recently taken afternoon buses.. the time i did this trip, i took the bus to Chetumal and was able to get to Corazol in Belize by night fall, but the ride was on the back of a truck rather than a bus from the border.
