Hey all,

I am currently working in Shenzhen, my flight is early in the morning. (08:50) and I need arrive Hong Kong Int'l Airport no later than 07:30. Can anyone tell me what to do? I think the best way to deal with it is to reach the airport one day prior to the departure, but does the airport close after certain hour?!
Or is there any cheap place to stay near the airport?

Normally for international flights you need to check in at least two hours before, i.e. 06:50. You couldn't then stay in SZ and travel in the morning, because the border crossing doesn't open until 06:30 I think, and it would take more than twenty minutes to get to the airport.

Best plan might be to stay somewhere like Tsuen Wan (MTR terminal station) and catch A31 airport bus - first one leaves at 5:30am, costs HK$33, takes about 60 minutes.

PS I think the airport is open all night. Certainly I've caught scheduled flights there at 1am.
