Puerto Princesa City 3D/2N itinerary on June 08
Posted: Sat May 17, 2008 02:55 PM UTC
Hi! My bf and I booked a trip to Puerto Princesa on from June 27 (9.35am) to June 29 (4.15pm). This is our first time to go there and would really appreciate inputs, as i am currently planning our itinerary.

What are the places that we must go to and where we must eat? We are both nature lovers and we loooove to eat! But on a tight budget as well... so we're hoping for any referrals for locals who could serve as our guide/transport during our stay there, as tour agencies may cost more...

BTW, our last day is a sunday, and i've read that most establishments are closed on that day. i was initially planning to put in the city tour, but seems waste of time if such would be the case. any alternatives?

help please!!!

Every time we visit Puerto Princesa the must place to eat is Ka Louie Restaurant It has a very nice ambiance as well and for unknown reasons, shoes / slippers are left in the entrance area, the next must to eat placerestaurant is Badjao, during sunset it has a really nice ambiance and good food. It's located in a mangrove so during high tide, the restaurant looks like floating in the sea. underground river (UNESCO heritage site) is must to see place in puerto princesa.

You may want to have your city tour on Friday, after lunch. Saturday can be spent in Sabang (Underground River) and Sunday morning for a half day tour of Honda Bay (normally, this is a day tour but try if you can arrange a half day). If not, you can go to Silica beach near PP airport or the wharf for fresh seafoods.

Yes, Ka Lui and Badjao are the popular restos in PP. Ka Lui is close on Sunday and they are crowded on Saturday night. You may want to dine there on Friday or reserve a table for Saturday. Badjao is best at dusk, when you'll have a view of sunset while dining.
