Hi VT,
Can we now add videos to our pages like youtube?
If so, what do we need to do it? i.e mpeg format, size or time limits etc?

I've just tried to upload a couple of videos, but they fail every time. they are .MOV files shot with my digital camera.

there are some known issues with .mov that the video provider is sorting out...

OK, thanks. That's the particular native format that my camera (and many other digital cameras) record video in. (Quicktime .Mov)
I've uploaded the same videos to Facebook and Youtube with no problems.

Yep it's a known thing that's being fixed...

It's great to know that Videos can be finally uploaded into the web. I had the same problem as all of my videos are in MOV file which were taken via my Camera.

Do you know a time that it can be fixed so I can load lots of videos for lots of people to enjoy?

You can upload the .mov files and the they will be manually encoded by the video team. It just takes a little longer...

Thank you G, but I still have the problem. When I follow the steps and browse the file, I can not find the uploaded file(in MOV file) in the folder.

I have located the issue and was able to upload. Just one more question, what is the maximum size allowed to the upload?

hmmm...I don't know the exact largest file but I would URGE you to compress the file and make it as small as possible before uploading. That said, I think it can be pretty big. I'll find out.

Clear and will do that for the next one. Also to provide the information of the size may give the enough instruction. Videos are normally large size and probably many VTer will not be so memorable all the time to compress the files - hope the place will not be blasted because of too many big videos :-p
