Ireland Internet access in hostels means...?
Posted: Fri May 16, 2008 09:42 PM UTC
Another silly question.lol Since i've never stayed in a hostel till now.

When they say free internet access does that mean that they have computers with internet you can use?Or that if you have brought your own laptop you can access their internet by wi-fi?

The former would be very convenient as i am not planning to bring my laptop with me.

Actually the internet availability comes in two forms. In the room there is a connection, so you need a laptop, some places have a computer setup in the lobby, and you pay, whereas at one hotel we had a large screen LCD and a keyboard, and you could be hooked up (being charged of course) to the net. The best is to send an e-mail and ask.My wife and myself enjoyed Ireland very much.

Was this reply helpful?yes no
