Uh-oh, which airline, other than Malev, serves Dublin and Podgorica?
Anyway, I don't think it's going to be cheap. Perhaps an all inclusive tour is cheaper than a scheduled flight?

you might want to consider flying to nearby dubrovnik in croatia as that place is served by some budget airlines.
getting from dubrovnik to the coast of montenegro is very easy.
you can fly skyeurope via bratislava for very little money:

Hi...I think Aer Lingus flies from Dublin to Dubrovnik and then you could just take a bus into Montenegro.

You'll be doing well if you manage to get any kind of combination of decent value and convenience in August. Connections to Podgorica are not very good. As said above, the most convenient way would be a direct Aer Lingus flight to Dubrovnik plus a bus to Montenegro, maybe have a look at Dubrovnik along the way. Those Aer Lingus flights can be very good value, but maybe not at that time of year. They go 4 days a week. Maybe you could also check Irish package tour companies with offers in Montenegro, I think they are Concorde Travel, Croatia Tours and Sunway - but they probably won't have anything to fit your 5-day schedule, it would probably have to be 7 days.
