hi everyone,
we'll be going to hongkong next week. Currently, the rate of hongkong dollar to a US dollar is 7.8. If i go to a money changer, how much will they change a US dollar to a HK dollar? thanks for your response. |

Diff money changers have different rates...try to look for 7.68 and above which is a good rate. I had got till 7.76..... cheers Kaps

The rates are varied with different money changers. The one at the airport is around 7.1 or so as are the chequpoint kiosks. The best rate you can find would be at the banks. Bank of China etc... You can check the rates at your hotel as well.

last week, i got 7.55 at francki money exchange, 2/F worldwide House at Des Voeux Road Central

you can use an atm or the street exchanges have good rates. bank's are slow with lineups
