Hong Kong Madame Tussauds at the Peak
Posted: Thu May 15, 2008 03:35 PM UTC
Hi VT members,

Has anyone gone to Madame Tussauds at the Peak?
Was it worth it? Approximately, how many hours would it take to look around?

Will go to the Peak at 4pm. Would love to catch the sunset there.
Was wondering if we could finish M. Tussauds from 4-5pm? Or would we need more time?

Thanks in advance for any inputs.

Hi!

You must vist the Peak. The ride to peak is fun and the view is awesome from the Sky Terrace, though you have to pay for the view, I think it was $20HK. But there are couple of other view points to enjoy incredible views without paying.

Try to reach the Peak by around 5/5:30pm ( after visiting Madame T etc...) to catch the sunset and the night view. And yes visit to Madame T is worth it.

Have fun

If you have never seen Madame Tussauds then definitely go for it. It's a rather small version compared to London I have heard but it's still an awesome experience and well worth the visit. Not sure how long you will need but one hour should be the minimum.

By the way, you can easily spend more than half a day at the peak. The walk around Lugard Road already takes up almost two hours, you can also walk up to the actual peak of The Peak, which offers less crowds but great views towards the other side of the mountain. Then there is the Peak Galeria, the Peak Tower... loads of things to see and do, so take your time.

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Robert

The one in Hong Kong is quite small.

I think you can finish it in 60min, if not 90min.
