hi
please could any1 help . i have heard that theres lots of gr8 outlet shopping in new jersey.firstly how far away from times sqr/central park area would it be .would i be able to do a day trip and also wats the most efficient and affordable way to get there ? thanks again |

There are several places to do outlet shopping but the oldest and I think biggest is in the town of Secaucus, New Jersey, which is only about 4 miles from NYC via the Lincoln tunnel. You can catch an express bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square. Details can be found at:
www.secaucus.org/shopping.html An added plus is that in New Jersey there is no sales tax on clothing, shoes, etc. Hope this helps.

Even better than the Secaucus shopping area is Woodbury Commons north of NYC. There's a bus to get there and back... easy to do in a day and about an hour's ride. Google for Woodbury Commons for details.

yes!!!
woodbury outlets.. you can get the organised bus there for 19US i think... OR if you buy one of the hop on, hop off double decker bus tickets you can buy this as an extra.. Woodbury is about an hour away & these buses leave every half an hour or so... you will need the full day there.. its great there!!!! i will deffiatly be back there again before i die.. heeh
