Buenos Aires Travel Forum

Hi,

Due to a scheduling snafu, I'll be arriving in Buenos Aires a day earlier than my girlfriend. I get in at two pm on one day and she arrives at 10 in the morning the next. My impression from reading the forum is that the airport is a fair distance from town. Wanting to be back to meet her at the airport the next morning I was wondering if there was a hotel near the airport. As I will have been traveling for 16 hours, all I really care about is a bed, so the cheaper the better. Thanks in advance!

There is no hotel close to the airport. Just go ahead and get settled in a hotel in the city and grab a remise for the airport the next morning to meet her. You might book a remise to meet you as well makes life a bit easier on arrival. If you need a good guy this one is fantastic and has good rates...without traffic should only take you 30 to 40 minutes for the trip either way.

Sorry guys, you're wrong ! There is one good hotel (posada) near the airport !
"Posada de las Aguilas" is very close to the airport and has a shuttle that picks you up and brings you there.
We stayed with them a year and a half ago and liked it very luch - excellent service !
