hi,
i am planning to go to bhutan, can u please advise me on how to recah there, i am a citizen of india, also worth knowing is that do i need to take some tour package or i can go on my own, last thing i would like to know is that, which is a better place paro or thimpu, since i have at max 3 days for travel. if possible reaply me at taneja_rajat@yahoo.com regards rajat |

You dont need a tour: because you are indian you can go on your own.

Definitely Paro rather than Thimpu, though you could drive there in a day. But Paro has more important sites....especially the Tiger's Nest, which will take the better part of a day to do properly.
Thimpu is a small city that is exploding with construction, expanding helter-skelter over the hillsides. We were glad to have stopped there, but felt it was the least interesting of all we saw in Bhutan. dtf1947
