Hi all,

Hope you can help.

We are going to visit this place for 1 day and 1 night before we leave for London, just for our young daughter.

We are either going to stay at the Hotel Santa Fe (in the park), or the Kyriad (5 mins down the road).

Can you please let me know if it's better to stay in the park or out? The reason we are staying one night is we believe there are some night events and dinners we can attend which would make it easier to get back to the hotel.

Also the deal with Disney is that if we book one night at the Santa Fe, we need to buy tickets directly from the hotel (and they have quoted Eur59 for adults and Eur 51 for children). Are these prices right? I'm sure I saw them for Eur 10 cheaper each.

Those prices are right for access to both parks: Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios. For 10 euros less, you have access to only one park that you must choose for the day.

There is a free shuttle between DLP and the Kyriad should you choose that hotel.

With only one day, but the cheaper tickets limiting your to DLP only. You will not really have time (depending upon the crowds) to fully see all that is there. I recommend you skip the studio tour.

Book a room in the Santa Fe. You can reach your hotel on foot. It's only a 10 minutes walk from the parks, and 5 minutes from Disney Village. Also, after the shows at night you'll be able to walk back whenever you like. It's a safe walk. Take this from a regular visitor. You'll be much more at your ease when staying in a Disney hotel.
