| Paris | Homelidays Posted: Wed May 14, 2008 07:14 AM UTC
Hi everyone,
I am thinking of renting an apartment in Paris through the company Homelidays. Has anyone rented from them before? Do they charge an agency fee? Do they come recommended? I know Lodgis charge an agency fee but Im not too sure about Homelidays charging a fee. Thank you, |

I have used this site a lot, though not in Paris. If you Register (free) you will then have access to more information - Advertiser's Details; other customers Reviews.
I have found that the properties advertised are generally accurately described, I have never been charged an Agency fee.

I used them last summer in Italy and had a great experience. The descriptions were accurate enough - as good as any I have encountered - and the landlord was very pleasant. They do not charge an agency fee and you work directly with the landlord. I would use them again without hesitation. I rented about 10 months in advance through Homelidays. When I tried to use Lodgis for a Paris rental in 2006, they wanted me to wait until about 4 months before I traveled which I did not like.

I just got back from a holiday in France (a week in Paris and a week in the south.) We used Homelidays for our stay in a villa in Les Issambres. It was wonderful!!!! I can't recommend them highly enough!
