Average temps in San Juan del Sur in July and August are around 85-90F or 28-32C. It does rain in both months, but not a lot and typically there is a mini-dry season between the middle of July to the middle of August. The heaviest months are September and October. All bets are off if there is a hurricane on the Atlantic coast or a tropical storm forming in the Pacific. Both can produce lots of rain regardless of the month.
