Forum Question Posted By: Replies:
Germany Pay as you go cell phone at Frankfort airport
Posted: Tue May 13, 2008 06:56 PM UTC
What is the best option to pick up a European cell phone at the airport in Frankfort - I will be in the Lufthansa terminal. I am looking for a very inexpensive phone with "pay as you go" service, but I want to be able to plug it without an adapter or converter.

I have two options - buying the phone (I want to be able to keep it for whenever I'm in Europe and just add to it) ... or I could keep my phone and
just turn it off, and hope it lasts for the week.

I do not want to get into a SIM card or the like because I prefer not to have to deal with adapters, etc - to me this is not an option I want to pursue - I'd just like to get a phone.

If there are no justifiable options (as far as price) - I'll just keep the one I have with has all the right bands.

Thanks.
