Hi, I will be travelling from Tallinn to Helsinki by Ferry on June the 1st and returning the next day to Tallinn. I am looking for info on booking a ferry. I've looked at the ferry companies (Tallink etc.)webistes but they don't seem to let me book directly through the site.
My questions are;
Can I book my ferry beforehand?
Is it necessary to book the ferry or can I buy a ticket the day of travel in Tallinn?
What is the best (cheapest) ferry company (Doesn't have to be the fastest (2-3 hours sail time)
What should I expect to pay?

(Nordic Jet Line, one of the fastest) will only let you book their cheapest fares online in advance.

Scroll down the timetable pane to get the online booking link.

The other fast ferry company (Silja) doesn't seem to have online booking, but there is an email info link here:
