Yes, you can.
Shuttle bus to verona Train Station (every 20 mins) and then a bus direct to MAlcesine. Read more ans see timetables in my Torri del Benaco Transportation tip: http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/4c02d/228a3/9/ Ciao Francesco

Francesco is absolutely correct.
However, looking at the bus timetable at http://www.aptv.it/pdf/62-64.pdf you will see that the last bus from Verona train station to Malcesine is at 1845. Without any delays in your flight or collecting your luggage then you should make it with some ease........but just in case of any problems it may be best to have an alternative strategy! I believe that your best way might be to find out how much a taxi might be, it's 100kms from the airport to Malcescine and depending on how many of you are travelling it may be a more economic option. I have just looked at one such company and they are quoting €120. Again, once you factor in your airport bus transfers and the bus to Malcesine itself and multiply it by the number of travellers €120 might not seem so bad......and quicker I know that when I am faced with a similar problem, I either bed down in the town for the night (Verona is beautiful) and travel next morning, or get a taxi to my holiday destination. Have a backup plan! There is just no point in getting stressed when you are on holiday. Regards, Billy

Well, right... But lugagge collection is usually easy and fast.
The airport is close to citycenter, and the road is fast. In fact, there are only 2 traffic lights from airport to station, 99% of the road is on fast lanes. And (finger crossing) only major delays can put you in trouble for the last bus from the Verona train Station to the lake ( No problems for the shuttle, I've seen it around midnight, too). I would even check again the timetable in june, because i won't exclude they add a few buses during the peak summer season. Prices..... the whole trip (shuttle + bust to Malcesine) are little more than 10 euros... So, taxi would be faster and easier, but not competitive in prices, even if shared. Ciao Francesco

| Malcesine | Re: transport from Verona Posted: Mon June 9, 2008 10:52 PM UTC
hi, we are visiting malcesine in october,we booked through expedia which had no information about transfers.. i was also worried how we would get from verona airport to malcesine, I priced taxi,s and the cost was approx £200 return.! we then contacted our hotel and enquired about transport and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a mini bus transfer to and from the hotel ..and it was the great price of just 30 euros each., i suggest you contact your hotel and see if they offer this service..
