Hello,
i am going to HK at the end of June and I want to buy iphone but i dont know if it is good idea to buy it there. Any advice? Thanks |

I was in Bangkok this winter and everyone had an I-phone. They seemed to work good, and in talking to the users, they had no problem with the hacked phones. I assume the same is true in Hong Kong.

iphone hasn't been launched in Asia as yet. I think it will by the end of this year. Yes HK has lots of shops selling unlocked iphones but for double the price.
And I don't think it's worth buying unlocked iphones because whatever anyone says it will create a problem for the user when you start updating your iphone software. In some cases it has got relocked. cheers Kaps
