Two questions for anyone who has been to Macau recently.

How long should I allow for a taxi trip between the Venetian Resort and the ferry terminal probably in the early evening?

Is there a ferry service other the usual ones (turbojet etc) near the hotel? I think I read something about this on the hotel website.

No worries; there are free shuttle buses offered by the Venetian between the Macau Ferry Terminal and the Venetian which is on the Cotai 'strip' between Taipa and Coloane islands.
No ferry from near the Venetian BUT they are building a new ferry terminal and service for projected service.

Any idea how long the trip by shuttle takes?
Do they go directly to the ferry terminal with no other stops?
There are five of us. Is the shuttle bus large or small?

Yes, it should be a free direct non-stop shuttle that takes about 15 minutes (minus shuttle waiting time) and there are several sizes, from regular large buses to mid-sized shuttles.
