Everything you would want is on the Riverwalk. Bars, brunch & basketball. Depending on where your hotel is, you might want to check with the concierge to see what's closest to you. There is a Hooters in the RiverCenter and another sports bar inside the Hilton. Club Rive and Zen Bar are good for dancing, don't know where you would find jazz but I'm sure there is someplace, maybe Zinc. If you want great mexican food and margaritas (good for brunch), walk or take a cab to Market Square and check out La Mexicana or Mi Tierra (right next to each other). Great shopping at Market Square too.

Downtown S.A. it is tough to find that combination of "upscale, dance and Jazz" in one place! Agreed, Club Rive is convenient and a good place to start. Also try Charles Court, which basically takes up an entire block with different clubs/bars (Drink, Cielo, Zinc, Oysters, Medusa, Leapin Lizard), between Market and Commerce/Presa and Navarro.

Sunday breakfast you can walk or catch a trolley over to Market Square. Mi Tierra is open 24 hours, it's not buffet but good down-home Tex-Mex. St. Anthony Hotel, Menger Hotel and Emily Morgan Hotel all do a good, traditional Sunday Brunch.

Tex's at the Hilton has a good sports bar, and The Ticket at the corner of Houston and Lasoya.

Enjoy!
