Hello, all. If this question has been asked before, I sincerely apologize.

I will be flying from Atlanta, Georgia, USA, to Toronto on Monday, June 23, with a final destination of Kingston, Ontario.

I will be arriving approximately 0830 at Toronto Pearson and would like to catch the 1130 train from Union Station, bound for Kingston.

I'd like to avoid taking a taxi because of cost, and I've heard the stories about how bad Toronto traffic can be that time of day. I tried finding information about subway/bus service between Pearson and Union, but frankly, I can't make heads or tails of it all.

If anyone can provide information about the best public transportation options between Pearson and Union, that would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Any tips about how to handle my luggage (one bag, one carry-on), fares, realistic travel time between the airport and the train station, smart traveler tips, etc., would also be appreciated.

Scroll down to see Pacific Western Airport Express and TTC (public transit info). You'll have plenty of time to reach Union Station from Pearson Airport.

Just to clarify, timewise you'll be ok with the PW Express coach. If you take public transit (TTC) I've never used the airport route, so I can't tell you how long this would take.

The PW coach will have a luggage compartment and re. the TTC, there's a note on the site about which cars carry luggage.

GO Transit is also an option but it seems you'd have to connect with the subway at the north end of the city - the trip south to downtown (Union Station subway) would take approx. 1/2 hr.

It will take you approx. 1 hour to get from gate to bus stop. And at least one hour to get down to union station, but it can be done. Bus number is 192 and can be found on ground level at both terminals. My home page has links to the Downtown express and the transit maps, with directions.
