have just heard that I've got tickets to see Springsteen next weekend - can anyone help with advice on reasonable B&Bs close to RDS?

Hi! Aww I'm jealous - Wish I was going to see The Boss again, but I'll be away in Iran -hoping to catch him after my hols. I saw him last in Madrid in November, the first European date of the Magic tour - and I even got to see him in his hotel, which was a complete surprise.

is one link for hotels, but these might be a bit pricey

http://www.rds.ie/home/index.aspx?id=19 for transport info etc.

It looks like you can get to RDS by bus or Dart from the city centre, so you can probably find cheaper accommodation away from the gig.

I usually look at Venere.com, Bookings.com, Hostalbookers.com etc first, for an idea of prices/locations etc. I stayed in Dublin about 10 years ago at Abbey Court Hostel, which was clean, cheap, central and secure -less than 5 mins walk from a Dart Station.
Hope this is of some help, I'm sure that You'll get lots of other replies.

Have A Great time!

I hesitate to rain on your parade but my guess is you are going to have difficulty getting any accommodation in Ballsbridge that weekend. You might have better luck with the city centre or try going south of Ballsbrdge to Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock, or Stillorgan.
Some websites you could try are: www.irelandhotels.com, www.irishbeds.com, or www.dublin-bnb.com
Best of luck and enjoy the concert!
