Hello

We are staying in Nice from Friday May 16 till Friday May 23rd. We intend to visit Cannes for one day by public transport, and would like to maximise our chances of spotting someone famous. Where is the best venue to hang out, and what day? (We have a child so late evening not really possible).

Clint is said to be attending in person for the beach screening of Dirty Harry.


A lot of stars turn up for the studio parties rather than necessarily to watch films. The people who know who's where are the Paparazzi - they do this for a living - so follow the guys with the stepladders and long-toms and you wont go wrong. Unfortunately most time a star is on the move they are squeezed ino a tinted window limo that whisks them from hotel to party or wherever and you see very little. And you will be competing with a forest of hands - 30,000 fans all with their cameraphone held high in the air.

Its crazy, but fun.
