I'm planning on visiting Bangladesh from India and I was wondering if anyone has any experience getting a Bangladesh visa in Delhi. How long does it take to process, did you encounter any difficulties, etc.? Also, I plan on crossing into Sylhet at the Tamabil border crossing. Lonely Planet says that border is used mainly by commercial trucking and doesn't get a lot of tourists. Can I expect any hassles from border guards? Should I expect to have to pay boksheesh? Thanks.

Thanks for feel interest to travel to Bangladesh. In delhi you can get BD visa within a day.
Yes you can able to cross the tamabil border. Tamabil border is usally famous for import coal from India, bt there is an oppurtunity to exit from Bangladesh. Boksheesh, sometimes it's need or not. Saiful Dhaka, BD
