Hi,

I am flying into the Adnan Menderes Airport and want to take a bus to Selcuk. My flight arrives around 24:00.

1) What is the safe and cheap way to go from the airport to the bus station?
2) Are there buses which go from the Izmir bus station to the Selcuk bus station at around 1:00? Is this safe so early in the morning?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Izmir bus station is in the opposite direction to Selcuk. If you're staying in Selcuk ask if the hotel can arrange a transfer. If you're not staying then go to the bus station and wait, there will at least be a cafe open. The bus station is on two levels. Selcuk is not big so waiting around there is more of a problem before going on to ephesus.

Why dont sleep in Izmir at nite and spend a morning and afternoon inside Izmir and go to selcuk by an evening bus?If you do not want to spend time and money to a hotel in Izmir, Tdiver's recommend is very good.Go to Bus station and spend time in there until the morning and take first Selcuk Bus and move to Selcuk.

Izmir is very nice city for to walk and spend even a whole day.

Izmir is a big city be careful but it s still safer than the LONDON,NY,PARIS etc.
