Paris Direction Needed

Hi guys,

Could you please advice me how to get to Charles de Gaulle Airport from St Georges Metro Station? and how long does it take during peak hour (around 4pm Tuesday). I can't be late as I need to catch a 6pm flight to Venice.

Many thanks!

Take the metro to Pigalle (one stop). Then Pigalle to Gare du Nord and then the RER B to CDG. The whole trip shpud take between 45 min to 1 hour.

In reference to your previous question, you only need to buy a ticket to CDG from St-Georges. Don't use your carnet tickets.

I'm not the OP but for my own future knowledge and others....

I'm looking at a map at of the metro and I can't figure out how to get from Pigalle to Gare du Nord?! It doesn't look like the 12 or the 2 line link up to the train station.

So Pomerol, what do you know that I can't figure out? ;)

Or if you find the RER trains confusing ( like I do) you could take the Roissy bus. The bus stop is on rue Scribe right behind Opera Garnier, costs about 9 euros but you do have to factor in traffic! The bus should take at least an hour.

Two options really Alli,

You can either transfer at Barbès-Rochebouart or for a direct transfer, keep going to La Chapelle which is linked to Gare du Nord by a tunnel.

See for yourself.

Oh I see now, La Chapelle has a "white bar" linking the two stations on my little map.

Thanks
